Singing Performance
	Superior 20 pts	Excellent 18 pts	Very Good 16 pts	Average 14 pts	Poor 12 pts
Posture	Superior Standing/sitting straight -Shoulders back -Spine, legs straight -feet flat on floor -head up -Never needs reminded about posture.	Excellent -Standing straight -Shoulders back -Spine, legs straight -feet flat on floor -head up -Must be reminded about posture	Very Good Standing, but either slouching or leaning. Standing, but without both feet flat on the floor.	Average -Sitting -Slouching -Leaning on furniture -Standing with one knee popped	Poor Will not follow directions for standing or sitting properly.
Projection	Superior Singing at appropriate volume (audible, yet not shouted) independantly.	Excellent Singing at appropriate volume (audible, yet not shouted) with prompting from teacher.	Very Good -on task -singing, but without confidence -poor breath support	Average -not singing -mumbling	Poor Will not sing.
Tone quality	Superior -Singing with appropriate fullness of tone quality for grade level/age -Good breath support	Excellent -Singing with appropriate fullness of tone quality for grade level/age -Good breath support	Very Good -singing, though with poor breath support -too little physical effort	Average -mumbling -speaking -shouting	Poor Will not sing, or sings inappropriatly.
Accuracy of Pitch	Superior -Uses proper head voice. -Sings on pitch in correct pitch register all of the time. -Follows melodic direction	Excellent -Uses proper head voice most of the time. -Sings on pitch most of the time.	Very Good Uses head voice some of the time. -Singing some right notes/pitches. -Lack of control on pitches.	Average -never uses head voice. -not singing -No right pitches -too low or too high -uses talking instead of singing voice	Poor Will not sing
