CTE Employ-ability Grade CTE Employ-ability Grade All CTE Courses will issue an Employability grade AT LEAST twice per six weeks. Teachers may elect to administer this grade more than twice a six weeks as deemed appropriate for their program. This will count as a summative (60%) grade and will be used to measure content mastery of work ethics, professionalism and career readiness for each CTE student enrolled in a CTE course at BHS. Class Participation Classroom discussions, activities and assignments.	Excellent Participates in all class activities including clean-up in a professional manner. Works independently and as a team member.	Good Participates in most class activities including clean-up in a professional manner. Works independently and as a team member most of the time.	Satisfactory Participates in some class activities including clean-up in a professional manner. Works independently and as a team member some of the time.	Needs Improvement Does not participate in all class activities including clean-up or does the activities in an unprofessional manner. Does not work independently or as a team member.
Attitude Respect towards teacher, peers, school administration and other industry professionals. Comes to class with a positive attitude.	Excellent Has a positive attitude towards work/learning. Respects the rights of others. Takes initiative (Works without need for constant supervision and direction.)	Good Usually has a positive attitude towards work/learning. Respects the rights of others. Time Management	Excellent Time on task is exemplary, and follows through to completion, wisely uses time.	Good Occasionally needs prompting to remain on task and follow through until completion.	Satisfactory Often needs prompting to remain on task and follow through until completion allows distractions to hender completion of tasks.	Needs Improvement Does not remain on task or complete task without constant prompting, uses time poorly, allows or creates distractions.
Readiness Tardy, uniforms (if program requirement), dress-out (if program requirement) required equipment, clocks in and out, etc.	Excellent Is prepared for class. Health and Safety No Cell Phones, Brings Required Industry Equipment, Remains in assigned seats, Etc. Good The student adheres to professional principles in classroom and clinical environments and demonstrates an applied understanding of how to conduct themselves in a professional manner.	Satisfactory The student adheres to some professional behavior principles in classroom and clinical environments and demonstrates an applied understanding of how to conduct themselves in a professional manner.	Needs Improvement Student does not demonstrate an awareness of professionalism or fails to understand how to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
