A Model of Our Solar System 
Take your knowledge of our solar system and create a 3D model. Planets should be in the correct order and proportioned to each other. All planets should be clearly labled. The project is to see how you view the solar system & showcase creativity. This project is worth 100 points & is due March 21. Each student will have to present their project to the class, so come prepared to discuss how the 3-D solar system model was created, be able to discuss the solar system & talk about each planet.

The projects' appearance is somewhat poor. Some distractive elements. ie.. handwriting could have been improved. The proportions are close but there are a couple mistakes.

Project's appearance is clean and polished with no distractive elements. All planets are correctly proportioned to each other.

Very little or no creativity and sizes were not varied. Minimal color is used. Materials are incomplete and not organized. A lack of effort is apparent.

Some thought has been put into the project. There is some color and the planets are close to their correct color and size. Creativity is not quite there.

There is large amounts of creativity being shown. All planets have their correct colors and imagination has been used when designing the solar system model.
