Group Choreography Assignment Group Choreography Assignment Instructor assess group efforts in producing group choreography as an assignment in which all members contributed to producing choreography for the task at hand. Assignment was to find a piece of art or a photographed which moved you. choreography should have a clear form, transititions that are seamless and movements that represent your piece of art or theme. Choreography	Excellent Group accomplished the task extremely and related the dance MOVEMENTS to the theme, created from a piece of art or photography.	Good Group accomplished task well and related the dance movements to the theme.	Needs Improvement Group somewhat accomplished task and movements are unclear doesn't relate to theme.	Unsatifactory Group is confused about assignment and was missing choreography.
Movement Knowledge	Excellent Dancer know the movement extremely well. Confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction. DANCE is clean and well rehearsed. Transitions are natural and seamless.	Good Dancer know the movement well. They stay together, and have a good sense of timing & direction. 2-3 mistakes made. Transitions are good.	Needs Improvement Dancer somewhat knew movement. Have an ok sense of timing & direction. Made 4-5 mistakes. Transitions are ok.	Unsatifactory Dancer are somewhat unprepared and unsure of the choreography. Timing or direction is unclear. Made 5-6 mistakes. Transitions are choppy.
Elements	Excellent Strong and consistent evidence that the dancer not only understand the elements of dance, but are able to use the elements to add interest and variety to their dance.	Good All of the elements of dance are present and the dancers understand what they are.	Needs Improvement Some of the elements of dance are present. Dancer did not clearly understand what the elements of dance are.	Unsatifactory Dancer was unclear of the choreography techniques and included only one of the skills.
Teamwork	Excellent Strong evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.	Good Good evidence that group worked as team.
