Classroom Expections Classroom Expections The following rubric is so students will know what is expected of them regarding effort in doing class assignments: participation, cooperation, thoroughness in doing assignments, individual/group work, critical/creative thinking, etcetera. Classroom Expectations 10 points and above.
	Poor 0 pts	Fair 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
Tests/Nursing Skills	Poor Did not take tests /Nursing skills	Fair Took the tests but did not pass some of it.	Good Passed the test with the minimum approved expectation.	Excellent Passed the tests and exceeded expectation.
Individual Assignments	Poor No assignment turned in or showed no effort, did not work any of the assignments.Incomplete or missing homework	Fair Partial assignments completed. Put forth some effort and tried to work some of the assignment. No notes.Has some knowledge of the content	Good All assignments completed but with some errors. Showed work on assignment. Put forth a good effort. Notes were taken.	Excellent All assignments completed with no errors.Completed all homework pages. Work is neatly typed, and they can explain their answers. All work is clean, no stray marks, no holes.
Effort	Poor Student did not complete his/her job task even with prompting from the teacher.	Fair Student had to be asked to complete his/her job assignment by group members or the teacher.	Good Student completed the job task he/she was assigned but with guidance from the team or the teacher.	Excellent Student completed the job task he/she was assigned in a positive way and did not take on duties of another student.
Verbal Participation	Poor Student does not participate at all.	Fair Student is slow to participate and contribute. Only participates 50% of class time, and then only when called on.	Good Student participates and contributes for 75% of class time, always when called on.	Excellent Student is constantly active in participation and contributes for 90% or more of class time.
Attendance	Poor Always late. Leaves the class without explanation. Absent or very late for the testing.	Fair Usually more than 15 minutes late.	Good On time . Never early .	Excellent On time or early. Never leaves early.
