Model	Level 1 Student constructed an unstable bridge. It could not hold even two pounds.	Level 2 Student used the allotted objects to create a structure that was somewhat stable and it held up five pounds. Student rushed through his/her work.	Level 3 Student constructed a model of a bridge based on proper design using the allotted materials. The final product held eight pounds	Level 4 Student constructed a well designed bridge based on proper design and using the allotted materials. The bridge held eleven pounds.	Level 5 Student constructed a model of a bridge based on proper design using allotted materials. He/she went above and beyond to ensure the bridge was pleasing in appearance. The bridge held more than fifteen. pounds.
Presentation	Level 1 Student did not use the correct vocabulary and was unable to explain his/her design. Student was unprepared.	Level 2 Student used some building related vocabulary and with assistance was able to explain the design. Presentation was simple and lacked preparation.	Level 3 Student used a little of the vocabulary and was aware the design. Presentation was clear and easy to follow.	Level 4 Student used accurate vocabulary and was aware of type of design and explained the some of the distribution of weight and tension. Fairly clear and usually easy to follow.	Level 5 Student used accurate vocabulary and was aware of type of design and explained the distribution of weight and tension. Clear and easy to follow.
Cooperation	Level 1 Student had difficulty collaborating with group members in order to make decisions. Student needed constant reminders to cooperate and stay on task.
