For this project, students will use their drawing skills, Oil Painting techniques, color theory knowledge, and the rule of thirds to create a dynamic painting.

Craftsmanship

Skill level of all mediums very low. Sloppily done. Pencil lines are clearly visible. Paper is ripped or torn. Tape is crooked, making the border crooked.

More time was given to the use of media, but still had problems filling in spaces with watercolor. Pencil lines are erased but may still be visible. The paper may be bent. Tape may be crooked

Skill level is on grade level. Student's use of media was very good with the exception of a few places which needed some extra added time. The paper is in good shape.

The student's media skill level is exceptional. All media used is done with great time and care. Nothing could be added or taken away to improve the painting. No pencil lines are visible. The paper is in great condition.

Colors are painted sloppily, and no attention was given to light and shadow. Color theory application is missing
