Collage Intent	Minimal I did not create a collage based on an issue in my community. My work is unorganized and no meaning.	Basic I created a somewhat interesting collage. I wrote an intent, but my message does not come through clearly in my artwork.	Proficient I created an expressive collage that conveys the intended meaning of my neighborhood or community issue. I used the space well, and my artwork tells a story.
Creativity	Minimal I did not apply elements of design.	Basic I applied some elements of design, they are evident in my work.	Proficient I applied use of many elements of design and showed some use of principles of design.
Craftsmanship/Quality	Minimal I did not cut and paste neatly. My artwork looks messy. I rushed.	Basic My craftsmanship needs some work. Most of my work is pretty clean, but I could have worked harder to make it look more organized and neat.	Proficient I took my time and thought carefully when I cut and pasted my image. I made sure to rub and smooth pieces out as I worked.
Work Ethic/Effort	Minimal I did not stay on task. I was not respectful or responsible in class.	Basic I had some problems staying on task. I was talking and working, and could have used my time better.	Proficient I stayed on task, I was respectful and responsible in art class and finished all my work.
