Hands-on DOS Students will demonstrate a knowledge of command line interface and conscientious syntax by completed a number of tasks set forth by their instructor.

Navigating tasks 80 % • Student was able to successfully complete the various tasks in Disk Operating System as set forth by instructional staff. These include carrying out various Fdisk, directory-level, and file level commands. Students will raise their hands and demonstrate completion to an instructor after each task.	Poor Student did not complete the tasks set forth by the instructor. Student did not show finished work to instructor.	Fair Student struggled to complete tasks in the allotted time and was unable to complete many of the tasks or needed significant assistance. Student made multiple errors in structure and syntax.	Good Student successfully completed the tasks in the allotted time and showed an instructor his/her work. Student made no more than five errors in structure or syntax in the final iteration of each task.	Excellent Student completed each task within the time allotted with no errors in structure or syntax. Student conscientiously sought instructor approval for each exercise.
Notes 20 % Student created and used notes of different command line tools and applied them.	Poor Student had no significant notes and had to rely completely on the instructor or classmates to get the proper syntax of commands.	Fair Student had minimal notes and struggled to find the correct syntax for various commands. Student relied heavily on others for correct information.	Good Student had satisfactory notes and was able to execute most of the commands using the information from the notes. Student may have needed assistance with fewer than half of the exercises.	Excellent Student had comprehensive lecture notes and was able to execute all commands using the information from this resource.
