Contains so many mechanical errors that it is impossible for the reader to follow the thinking.	Poor - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. - Language uses inappropriate jargon or conversational tone.	Fair Paper contains several grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors, which may temporarily confuse the reader but not impede the overall understanding. - Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or conversational tone.	Good - for the most part, rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct. - Language is clear and precise; sentences display consistently strong, varied structure.	Excellent Chooses words for their precise meaning and uses an appropriate level of specificity. Sentence style fits paper's audience and purpose. Sentences are varied, yet clearly structured and carefully focused, not long and rambling. Almost entirely free of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
