Inappropriate word use 30 %	You Can Do It... Speaker misused more than 5 words, which may have led to miscommunications in conversation.	Getting There... Speaker misused some words, but only with one or two miscommunications that speaker was able to talk through and clear up.	Got It! Speaker may have misused one or two words, but did not lead to any miscommunications.
New Vocabulaary 25 %	You Can Do It... Majority of words used are words already familiar to student.	Getting There... Some (3-5) new words used, but speaker lacked confidence in using those words.	Got It! Many (6+) new words used. Speaker was more confident in word use.
Fluency 25 %	You Can Do It... There were numerous breaks in speech while speaker searched for correct word.	Getting There... There were short breaks in speech. Speaker was able to provide correct vocabulary word majority of time.	Got It! Few if any breaks in speech so student could identify correct word to use.
