computation	Poor Computation shows no evidence of understanding.	Fair Includes basic computations, but some are incorrect.	Good Shows correct computations, but final answers have some errors or vice versa.	Excellent Shows correct computation with correct answers.
Approach to the Problem	Poor Unable to think of any strategies to solve the problem.	Fair Begins, but fails to complete the strategies.	Good Clear, organized methods used.	Excellent Used multiple methods to solve problem. Ex. Graphs, rules, drawings, etc.
Reasoning	Poor No understanding of the problem.	Fair Minimal understanding of the problem.	Good A good understanding of the problem. Is able to logically explain reason for answer.	Excellent Justifies solution method and results. Uses correct mathematical vocabulary to explain.
Organization	Poor Lacks organization. Difficult to follow work.	Fair Work demonstrates some organization to the problem.	Good Work is all there and mostly organized in a logical sequence.	Excellent Work is neat and well organized.
