Content	Excellent Speech content is well organized. Topic is discussed thoroughly.	Good Spoken content is generally logical. Most information on topic included.	Average Spoken content is somewhat illogical and confusing in places. Information on topic lacking.	Below Average Spoken content is illogical and difficult to understand in a variety of places. Most of the information is lacking.	Poor Poorly organized. Incomplete coverage of topic.
Comprehensibility	Excellent Listener can always understand what the speaker is trying to communicate. Correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.	Good Listener can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.	Average Listener can understand approximately half of what writer is trying to communicate. Some incorrect use of Spanish vocabulary. Direct translations of English idioms that do not make sense in Spanish.	Below Average Very difficult to understand the majority of the content. Mostly incorrect use of Spanish vocabulary. Word for word translations from English into Spanish without consideration of meaning into Spanish.	Poor Incomprehensible throughout.
Grammar Accuracy	Excellent Speaker uses grammar correctly. Grammar does not take away from speaker's message. 0-2 errors	Good Speaker usually uses grammar point correctly. Grammar slightly distracts from speaker's message 3-4 errors	Average Speaker makes frequent mistakes with grammar. Grammar does affect speaker's message 5-6 errors	Below Average Many grammar errors interfere with message of the paper. Grammar is distracting to the speaker's message 7-8 errors	Poor Speaker uses grammar incorrectly throughout. 9 + errors.
Instructions and Effort	Excellent Speaker fulfills the requirements of the assignment and has put care and effort into the process. Student was well prepared on the due date.	Good Speaker fulfills all of the requirements of the assignment and ample time and effort are apparent. Student was mostly prepared on due date.	Average Speaker fulfills some of the requirements of the assignment. Some effort is apparent. Assignment is completed on due date. Student was somewhat prepared on due date.	Below Average Speaker needed to pay attention to detail and instruction. Little care and effort are evident in the process. Student needed to prepare more for oral presentation.	Poor Assignment is incomplete.
