Spanish Comic Strip Spanish Comic Strip Students will create a comic strip using words that they have learned in Spanish Class. Students will present the comic strip in front of the class and tell and describe the story. Students will also be assessed on how well they tell the story using vocabulary learned in class. Thought/Speech Bubbles	Poor No Thought/Speech Bubbles are present.	Fair Some Thought/Speech Bubbles are present and reveal some character's thoughts or relay some dialogue	Good Most Thought/Speech Bubbles are present and somewhat reveal a character's thoughts or relay dialogue.	Excellent Thought/ Speech bubbles are present and clearly reveal a character's thoughts or relay dialogue efficiently.
Frames	Poor The comic has less than 3 frames.	Fair The comic only has 3-4 frames.	Good The comic only has 5-6 frames.	Excellent The comic has at least the 8 required frames.
Effort	Poor Minimal effort. Copies teachers example sentences.	Fair Minimal effort.	Good Some effort to present own ideas in own language; uses a variety of vocabulary and verbs.	Excellent Good effort to present own ideas in own language using vocabulary learned this year and uses many verbs.
Comprehension This section is worth triple points (e.g. if you receive a 3, it will be 9 points).	Poor Listeners can understand little of the Spanish used in the story; major problems with grammar and usage, short and choppy sentences.
