Body Systems Body Systems In groups, students will draw a life size outline of the human body on a sheet of butcher paper. On the right half of the body, draw and label the muscular system. On the left side of the body, draw and label the skeletal system. Grading will be as described below. A zero will be given for any work less than poor listed below. All groups must have their team name in bold, large print at the top center of the butcher paper. Human Body Systems
	Poor 15 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 25 pts
Muscular System	Poor 1-2 muscle groups. Incorrect labeling of muscle names.	Fair 2-4 Muscle groups present. Labeling of each muscle is correct. 5 muscle groups present but 1 or more are labeled incorrectly.	Good 7 muscle groups labeled correctly.
Group Work/Creativity/Effort	Poor Are good if they advance the meaning behind the poster: color, words, style, layout.	Fair Some creativity is apparent in a number parts of the project, including in parts of both the presentation and poster design. Reasonable efforts on the part of some of the group members are in evidence.	Good Creativity is apparent throughout all parts of the project, including both presentation and poster design. Significant efforts on the part of all group members are in evidence throughout all aspects of the project.
Skeletal System	Poor 1-5 bone/joint groups. 10 or more incorrect labeling of bone/joint names.	Fair 5-14 bone/joint groups. 7 or more incorrect labeling of bone/joint names.	Good 15 bone/joint groups. all correct labeling of bone/joint names.
Organization	Poor Unorganized. unable to distinguish different systems	Fair Organized but messy/sloppy. Words/drawings are too small to be easily distinguished. Words/drawings are not separated by enough blank paper to be easily read.	Good Very organized NOT messy/sloppy. Words/drawings easily distinguished. Words/drawings are separated by enough blank paper to be easily read.
