Discussion and Poster - Intro to philosophy
The student will study Aquinas' first argument for God's existence and Rower's argument for atheism. The student will then explain both arguments to the class. The student will create a poster and show it to the class while presenting the arguments. This activity has two learning goals: 1) To identify and understand key notions in Aquinas's argument and in Rowe's argument 2) To learn how to give a clear and concise presentation integrating both verbal and visual tools.
