Student is constantly engaged in the class activity. Student does not need reminders to stay on task.

Student is often engaged in the activities. Student could participate more in class activity, but is never causing a distraction.

Student is often engaged in the activity. Student needs a reminder to get back on task and can be distracting to teacher and classmates.
Poor

Student is not involved with the class activity. Student needs constant reminders to get back on task. Student is distracting to the class as a whole.

Excellent

Student completed work or is ready with required materials for the class. Student has done all assignments with best effort and is ready for class.
Above Average

Student usually completes work and/or is ready with required materials for the class. Student has done required assignments and is ready for class.
Average

Student sometimes completes work and/or has materials. Student has completed some assignments and is sometimes ready for class.
Poor

Student did not complete required work and/or assignments. Student contributed little or nothing at all to the overall activity.

Excellent

Student is positive about the activities being learned in class and sets the example for students around him/her. Student tries to speak in English to the teacher and to classmates

Student is positive about the activities being done in class. Student speaks to the teacher in English

Student is neutral about the activities. Student only speaks English when prompted by the teacher.
Poor

Student has a negative attitude towards English and never tries to speak English during the class.

Student respects and encourages the views of others. Student asks questions or clarification. Student builds on others comments.

Body and/or verbal responses indicate active listening. Student asks questions and build on others comments.

Student sometimes pays attention to the group discussion. Student sometimes ask questions and build on others comments.
Poor

Student frequently interrupts and/or put down the views of others. Student does not ask questions or clarification.

Student always completes homework and it is done with care.

Student completes homework but it is often done minimally.

Student often forgets homework or hands in homework which is incomplete
