Attendance Rubric
	Poor 5 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 15 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Class Attendance	Poor Student has missed 4 or more class days Serious problem with lateness and/or leaving early. Student is not prepared for class.	Fair Student has missed 3 class days. Problem with lateness and/or leaving early. Student is not always prepared for class.	Good Student has missed 2 or less class days. Student is on time and in their seat ready to learn most of the time.	Excellent Student has perfect attendance. Always on time to class and in their seat ready to learn.
Class Participation	Poor Student never participates in class or only participates when absolutly necessary.	Fair Student participates in class occasionally.	Good Student regularly participates in class. Groups with randomly selected students and interacts with the parameters of the assignment.	Excellent Groups with randomly selected students interacts, assignments offers help other group members understanding the concepts. stays on task at all times.
Class Respectfulness/Attitude	Poor Student is rarely respectful to teacher and rest of class. Student has a bad attitude toward others, makes rude comments or lashes out in class.	Fair Student has a fair attitude toward classmates and instructor, interacts minimally, occasionally disengages in classroom activities.	Good Student is almost always respectful to teacher and rest of class	Excellent Student is respectful to teacher, classmates. Student actively participates w/ classmates and instructor, displays interest in content and is engaged in the classroom environment.
Class Disruption/ Cell Phone	Poor Student constantly disrupts class. Student is texting during class. Student is sent to the Main Office.	Fair Student disrupts class and has their cell phone out more than 2 times. Cell phone is taken away during class.	Good Student almost never disrupts class. Less than 1 verbal warning to put their cell phone away. Student agrees.	Excellent Student never disrupts class. Asks questions that are on topic and appropriate. Never has cell phone on in class.
Class work time	Poor Doesn't finish assignments. Nothing to grade.	Fair Wastes time. Barely finishes, finishes late, or does a poor job.	Good Busy most of the time. May need extra time to complete. Uses resource room or learning centers to complete.	Excellent Stays busy and productive. Completes work according to time. Doesn't interrupt or distract others.
