Pitch/Intonation	Superior The student performed all notes correctly and in tune.	Excellent The student performed the arpeggio with 1 or 2 errors and most notes in tune. A few hesitations between notes.	Fair The student performed with 3 - 5 errors and some notes in tune. Many hesitations between notes.	Poor The student performed with more than 5 errors and most notes are out of tune. Most note changes felt hesitated.
Tempo	Superior Tempo is steady throughout selection.	Excellent Tempo is mostly steady throughout the selection, with one or two errors.	Fair Tempo is somewhat steady, with three or four errors. Please maintain a steady pulse throughout.	Poor Tempo is not steady. Please maintain a steady pulse throughout by tapping your foot to the beat.
