Types and sources of loss Students are able to identify a variety of types of loss; ie, situational, developmental, functional, actual, percieved	Poor Student is not able to identify types of loss/grief	Fair Student identifies types of loss/grief but is not able to ascribe the various responses to the label	Good Student readily identifies and ascribes characteristics to different types of loss
Symptoms of Grief/Loss Depression, withdrawal, insomnia, crying	Poor Student is unable to identify symptoms of grief/loss	Fair Student is able to name symptoms of grief/loss but unable to describe their manifestations and interventions	Good Student readily identifies symptoms of grief/loss and is able to describe the manifestations and interventions
