Persuasive Writing Evaluation of a persuasive letter.
	Poor Minimal or less than minimal work. 1 pts	Good Average work meeting most criteria. 3 pts	Excellent Meets and exceeds standards. 5 pts
Grammar, Spelling, & Punctuation 30 %	Poor Paper has more than 3 spelling errors, 3 grammatical errors, and 3 punctuational errors.	Good Paper has 1-2 spelling errors, 1-2 grammatical errors, and 1-2 punctuational errors.	Excellent Paper has 0-1 spelling errors, 0-1 grammatical errors, and 0-1 punctuational errors.
Organization, Content, & Flow 45 %	Poor Paper has no real sense of order, doesn't follow the model that was presented and taught. Paper does not reflect the purpose of persuading the audience and has no supporting details.	Good Paper follows the model presented and taught but lacks flow. Paper has weak arguments backing the purpose of the persuading topic.	Excellent Paper follows the model presented and taught and strong flow. Arguments are well-defined and researched. Paper flows well from paragraph to paragraph.
Overall Quality of the Paper 25 %	Poor Paper is not persuasive and does not have a purpose. Paper has multiple spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.	Good Paper is persuasive and has a purpose but lacks conviction. Paper has minimal errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.	Excellent Paper is persuasive with strong arguments. It is professional and has been very thoroughly proofread.
