Fair The speaker introduced the speech, but some details were unclear. The introduction lacked a clear stand on the topic, a preview of main points, and/or the areas of agreement.	Good The speaker introduced the speech adequately by mentioning some areas of agreement, including a viewpoint, and giving a preview of the main points of the speech.	Excellent The speaker introduced the speech well by building on areas of agreement, including a strong statement of opinion, and giving a preview of main points of the speech. The speaker was enthusiastic about the topic and brought the audience into the speech.
Body	Needs Improvement The speech was difficult to follow due to a lack of organization.	Fair The speaker delivered adequate information about the topic. The speech lacked organization and/or detail to the extent that some main points were unclear.	Good The speaker used logical order and relevant details to deliver their information. Power Point	Needs Improvement No power point submitted	Fair Power point was available but included too much text and/or the speaker did not walk through the slides verbally.	Good Power point used good information to add to the speech. Speaker was able to keep the audience on track.	Excellent Power point was used soley for information that wass difficult to verbalize. The powerpoint was a true aid to the speech and the speaker verbally walked the audience through the slides.
