Anything Goes Design and Presentation Rubric
Students will create a poster that exhibits a design concept for the musical A Midsummer Night's Dream. The poster will contain information relevant to character, setting, and costume design. First, students will complete a clue gathering questionnaire using text evidence from the play. Then they will use the details they have gathered to create a unique and colorful digital promotional poster for the play featuring one of the characters from the play. .

Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Artwork is the students own & is neat. Writing is easy to read. Shows the student can effectively express ideas through a combination of visual and written work.

Contains no more than 5 images that are not the students own. All other writing and drawing is clearly the student's own work. Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating and designing the poster.
Needs Improvement
Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. More than 5 images in the artwork are not the student's own.
Failing
Lacks original artwork. Does not make good use of space on the poster. Messy. Lacks color.
