Class Participation
	unsatifactory 65-75 13 pts	Fair 76-83 16 pts	Good 84-92 17.6 pts	Excellent 92-100 20 pts
Following directions Following class and shop rules, and rules of the school.	unsatifactory Student does not follow directions.	Fair Student rarely follows directions or needs to be prompted to follow directions. Student needs often reminders to keep phone/electronics away.	Good Student follows directions the majority of the time. May not follow all directions. Minimal reminders about phone/electronics.	Excellent Student follows all directions given by instructor.
Attitude Conduct while in school.	unsatifactory Student has a negative attitude towards others, instructor and work in general or is disrespectful.	Fair Student rarely has a positive attitude towards others, instructor and work in general. Needs frequent warnings about language used or is sometimes disrespectful.	Good Student has a positive attitude towards others, instructor and work in general the majority of the time.	Excellent Student always has an excellent attitude towards others, instructor and work in general.
Participation Shop/classroom participation. Includes: Class assignments, shop tasks, live work, and cleaning shop.	unsatifactory Student does not participate in activities.	Fair Student participates only when prompted. Rarely works on shop tasks, class assignments or live work.	Good Student participates the majority of the time. More than 50% of class/shop time.	Excellent Student actively participates and helps others when needed. Sets an example for other students. Actively works on all shop work.
Cleanup Clean work area. Put tools away and clean any spills.	unsatifactory Student does not participate during clean up of work area.	Fair Student participates during clean up only when prompted. Rarely cleans up work area.	Good Student will clean up work area, Often needs to be prompted.	Excellent Student is working above expectation during clean up.
Shop safety Follow safety rules. Wears safety glasses and works and works in a safe manner.	unsatifactory Student does not work safely and needs consistent reminders to wear safety glasses.	Fair Student needs frequent reminders to work safely and/or keep safety glasses on.	Good Student works safely, needs to be reminded to keep safety glasses on.
