Grade 9: Essay Questions 
The essay question is worth a total of 10 points. Answer each question in 2 clear and organized paragraphs. Each response should include a clear and precise thesis (1–2 sentences) that directly addresses the question or prompt, 2 direct quotes/details from the primary materials of the course, and additional support that concisely explains your thesis.
