Rubric for Speaking Skill Rubric for Speaking Skill This rubric is designed to asses students ability in speaking. Students have to answer their teacher's questions about the topic proposed for the quiz. Comprehension	Weak Interaction doesn't take place. Does not understand the question, responses are unclear.	Satisfactory Makes significant mistakes understanding questions, responses are somewhat clear. Questions are grammatically poor and misunderstanding takes place.	Good Interaction takes place despite some mistakes when asking and answering questions.	Qualified Makes few mistakes understanding questions, responses and questions are mostly clear
Content	Weak Questions and answers don't have any relationship with the task	Satisfactory The ideas regarding the opinion of the students are not supported by additional information or explanation	Good Some ideas that the students present, regarding their opinion are supported by additional information or explanation	Qualified Most of the ideas that the students present, regarding their opinion are supported by additional information or explanation
Pronunciation	Weak Control of the sound system so weak that comprehension is difficult.	Satisfactory Frequent inaccuracy in pronunciation and intonation.	Good Some inaccuracy in pronunciation and intonation.	Qualified Pronunciation and intonation generally accurate, errors do not cause misunderstanding.
Fluency	Weak Does not speak fluidly, frequent short and long breaks. Speaking in volume which is almost inaudible, no facial expression, and not communicative	Satisfactory Speaks somewhat fluidly, frequent short and a few long breaks.
