Each team will be researching a different memory model from Psychology. The assignment requires research, creation of an infographic using Piktochart or a similar digital tool, and a short presentation using your infographic to help other students learn about various models of memory.

Very creative. The infographic is visually stimulating and is seen as eye catching, making the viewer want to look at it.
Meets Expectations

The infographic has some hints of creativity. The viewer notices areas of outside of the box thinking.
Approaching Expectations

Some thought was given to the appearance of the infographic. The basics are there, but no "outside of the box" thinking was applied.
Needs Improvement

Little to no thought was given to the appearance of the infographic. The basics are not represented
Use of tools

Exceeds Expectations

Student chose the right Web 2.0 tool for their topic and used what the site had to offer to their benefit.
Meets Expectations

Tool was used well but the student could have picked a better option. It was not clear the designer investigate their options. Final product looked similar to other students' final product therefore showcasing that the designer did not do anything special.
Approaching Expectations

The tools used was acceptable, but a better choice could have been made.
Needs Improvement

Web 2.0 tool chosen did not assist in the design at all and actually made the infographic even more confusing.

All data & graphics are detailed and make logical sense to the audience. There are no errors and the point is clear. Infographic is effective. In addition, the data is represented in a way that is clearly memorable to the audience
Meets Expectations

All data & graphics are detailed and make logical sense to the audience. There are no errors and the point is clear. Infographic is effective.
Approaching Expectations

The data & graphics are lacking in detail and make very little sense when the audience is looking at the graphic. It is hard to see what the designer was trying to get across.
Needs Improvement

The data & graphics are incomplete and do not support any point the designer was trying to make. There is also a lack of statistical data and it is incorrect and off.

Student uses more than 1 source of decent quality.
Approaching Expectations

A Single but effective source was used. Or multiple sources of dubious quality are used.
Needs Improvement

Quality of single source is poor. Most/all sources not cited.
Layout/Neatness

Exceeds Expectations

Layout/neatness takes the viewer through the infographic in an efficient and effective way. The flow contributes to the understanding of the data, allowing connections to be made. Use of layout and graphics adds to the experience
Meets Expectations

The layout/neatness is acceptable and the information is easy to understand. Font's and colors are pleasing to the eye
Approaching Expectations

Layout/neatness does not always flow smoothly, disrupting the processing of information. There is a general neatness, however, some areas are distracting.
Needs Improvement

There does not appear to be any sense of order to the infographic. The infographic lacks neatness and clarity.
