Side Stitching	Needs Improvement Stitches are not evenly spaced the correct distance apart or are the same length. Stitching is not tight enough to secure the opening on one or more side.	Good Most of the stitches are evenly spaced the correct distance apart and are the correct length. Stitching is almost secured on both sides to secure the opening.	Excellent All of the stitches are evenly spaced the correct distance apart and are the same in length. Stitching is secured on both sides and holds the pouch closed.
Threads	Needs Improvement Threading is too loose throughout the project. Knots are visible.	Good A few loose threads and knots are visible.	Excellent No loose threads or knots are visible.
Snaps	Needs Improvement Snaps are not secured properly with the required number of stitches. Cross stitching is evident from hole to hole. Stitching is shown on the underside of the project.	Good Snaps are almost secured with the required number of stitches. Some cross stitching from the snap holes is evident. Knots may not all be hidden on each snap.	Excellent Snaps are fastened with the required number of stitches. Knot is neatly hidden with the underside free of stitches. Snaps are attached based on given instructions.
Overall Appearance	Needs Improvement Project shows lack of effort. Cut edges are uneven and jagged.	Good Project looks good.Effort was applied into making the project. Most of the edges are smooth with only a very few uneven spots.	Excellent Project looks great! Full effort was applied into making the project. Edges are smooth and even.
Time Management	Needs Improvement Student did not get started immediately after entering the classroom. Too much time was spend socializing.
