HVLP Spray Guns
	Below proficeint 1 pts	Proficient 2 pts	Above Proficient 3 pts
Safety	Below proficeint Student do not use safety glasses, gloves or respirator when before using the HVLP spray gun. Teacher must step in to ensure proper safety protocols are followed.	Proficient Student only uses partial PPE when utilizing the HVLP spray gun. A reminder has to be given to make sure proper safety protocols are followed.	Above Proficient Student checks surroundings, uses all proper PPE and properly inspects the HVLP spray gun to make sure the gun is prepared to be used.
HVLP Set - Up	Below proficeint Student does not check pressure or settings before usage, no test spray.	Proficient Student partially checks pressure and gun settings before usage, but does not complete adjustments.	Above Proficient Student fully checks pressure and gun settings before usage, completes all proper adjustments.
HVLP Use	Below proficeint Students does not verify that substrate has been prepped, sprays immediately, does not allow proper flash time in between coats.	Proficient Student will prep panel, checks pressure quickly, does not properly follow flash time criteria.	Above Proficient Student fully preps the substrate properly, pressure for the spray gun is properly set and ready, coats are applied and proper flash time is observed.
Clean HVLP Spray	Below proficeint Student finishes using HVLP spray gun and does not make an attempt to clean it in any way.	Proficient Students finishes using the HVLP spray gun, puts it in the gun cleaner and puts it back on shelf for later use.	Above Proficient Student finishes using the HVLP spray gun, disassembles it properly, cleans it using appropriate tools and solvent, reassembles, puts it back in the proper cabinet for later use.
