Supporting Details	1 Paragraph includes 0-1 supporting sentences to support the main idea.	2 Paragraph includes 2 supporting sentences that have a detail sentence. Setences support the main idea.	3 Paragraph includes 3 supporting sentences that have a detail sentence. Sentences must clearly support the main idea.
Punctuation	1 Many capitalization and punctuation errors.	2 Only a few errors of capitalization or punctuation.	3 Capital letters at the beginning of sentences and for proper nouns and correct punctuation is used.
Spelling	1 Many spelling errors.	2 Few spelling errors.	3 Level appropriate words are spelled correctly.
