History Project (Simple Sample Rubric) 
Put yourself in the shoes of either a solider, African American, or civilian during the American Civil War. You must describe your experiences and thoughts about the war through a historical accurate lens as if you were writing a journal from the time period. You must also mention specific events or figures from the war to receive full credit. Your paper must be at least three pages.
