Preparedness

Poor

I struggled to use my time wisely and thus felt unprepared when it came time to submit and present my parody. I felt a very limited amount of confidence in presenting this parody to my peers.
Fair

I spent a little bit of time thinking of an idea and ways to communicate my thoughts on the topic. I know I could have practiced more, but I did rehearse a few times before the presentation date. I felt a limited amount of confidence in presenting this to my peers.
Good

I put a good amount of time into preparing my ideas for this project, I also rehearsed my parody several times in front of a mirror to ensure my facial expressions matched the tone/ideas of the parody. I felt somewhat confident delivering this parody to my peers.
Excellent

I took this activity seriously and put in quite a lot of time thinking of creative ways to structure my ideas and get them across to the audience in a humorous, clever way. The multiple times that I rehearsed this parody helped make sure I was confident.
Effort

Poor

I slapped some ideas together and hoped they were a cohesive unit. Not a lot of thought went into this assignment.
Fair

My effort was limited. There was a bit of thought that went into connecting the ideas to create a cohesive message/around a central theme.
Good

I took my time in creating a cohesive idea that detailed many different aspects of my theme. I focused on the dilemma and illustrated the contrast somewhat effectively.
Excellent

I was intentional in selecting a theme as well as the arguments on either side of the dilemma. A significant amount of time and attention were paid in making a cohesive parody.
Goal Actualization

Poor

I didn't really have a goal with this project OR I didn't achieve the goal that I set out for myself.
Fair

My goal was simplistic and easily attainable without much effort OR I didn't feel challenged by my goal.
Good

I set a realistic goal for myself and it was somewhat challenging for me to reach, but I was able to achieve a satisfactory level of success. I am happy with my efforts and accomplishments.
Excellent

I challenged myself with this task, it was a stretch for me and I feel that I have grown as a writer and feel a strong sense of accomplishment for achieving my lofty goal.
For the Future

Poor

This assignment hasn't really shown me anything useful that I can carry forward into future assignments in this course or other courses or my life in general.
Fair

I have a small bit of take-away from this exercise. I have realized something about myself and can make adjustments for the future to capitalize on opportunities for success.
Good

I learned something about myself or my habits throughout the process of this task. There are a few things that I can incorporate in the future on similar tasks.
Excellent

This was an eye-opening experience that I know I will take away something important from it. There are real-life applications of the skills that I had to employ in the creation of this assignment.
