Symmetry Symmetry Student is to create a line of symmetry on a piece of paper. Then they will write their name on this line. Then they are to creatively decorate their name using colored pencils, markers or any other artistic medium to create an alien. Symmetry	Poor Not done as instructed, the name is not transformed as required	Fair Name and figures are done but both are done incorrectly	Good Name and figures are done as instructed but there are some mistakes made when the symmetry is shown	Excellent Name and figures are done as instructed, symmerty is shown and is done correctly.
Neatness	Poor Sloppy, lines are not straight, eraser marks are visible	Fair Lines are not drawn symmetrical, no apparent creature has been formed.	Good Work is neater, most lines are symmetrical, an alien can be seen.	Excellent Work is neat. All lines are symmetrical. Name is drawn neatly
Creativity	Poor No creativity, no colour is used.	Fair Little thought to creative ideas, coloured with just one color	Good Good ideas. Coloured with more than one colour, gave some thought to it.	Excellent Excellent work- original ideas and good use of colours.
