3-D Wave Model final 3-D Wave Model Students will construct a 3 D model of a wave showing the 3 parts of the wave: trough, breaker, and crest .Studnents will discuss waves, define them and discuss specific characteristics of waves. Wave Components	Advanced Mostly accurate representation of a trough crest, amplidtude, frequency, wave length. All are clear, represented, and explained. 5pts for each area.	Satisfactory Representation of Trough is not fully accurate. Trough is not represented or clearly represented.	Unsatisfactory Inaccurate representation. The wave components are not represented and/or are not a represesentation of its part.
Definitions/Discussions on Back	Advanced Very good understanding of Waves. (Able to verbally describe most Wave Parts and their purpose.)	Satisfactory Understanding of structure needs further develoment. (Not quite able to verbally describe all Wave Parts and their purpose.)	Unsatisfactory Lack of understanding of Waves.
Neatness	Advanced Neat wave table creation. Few error to project design,and project works as a wave table should. All components work together and help demonstrate have have travel and cause erosion.	Satisfactory Somewhat neat. Some effort in presentaion and labels, but still some areas that need some additonal work smudged and/or unattached. Labels are fairly neatly written.	Unsatisfactory Very messy. Numerous component failure on project. Most pieces attached improperly and/or falling off.
Creativity	Advanced Creative use of materials that show very good planning, organization and hard work.	Satisfactory Shows some sreativity in design.
