Advertising Social Responsibility Laws 
Advertising Social Responsibility Laws
Research and report on the social, ethical and regulatory aspects of advertising. Explain each: domestic and international governmental laws/regulations and penalties, global and cultural differences and ethical considerations for advertising and public relations. (Be sure to give concrete references such as a specific corporation that may have violated the laws). A two page paper is required.

Presentation must cover the parameters as listed above and have the following slides as a minimum: must involve a power point slide/Prezi show. Slides include (1) title slide, (2) Introduction (3) specifics with graphics and examples, (4) a closing slide, and (5) a works cited page. all nine slides, as well as, a one page typed double spaced written paper. All slides must be in sequence.
Poor

Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information. More than two of the above slides are missing. Presentation does not include a paper, or other elements of the project is lacking.
Fair

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around. Most of the slides are present and only one may be missing. Presentation does include a paper, but the paper is not in the correct format. Some elements of the project are lacking.
Good

Backgroud should not detract from presentation, and citation ( at the end of the presentation) should state references. You should have pictures in your presentation as well.
Poor

Presenter uses superfluous graphics or no graphics.
Fair

Presenter occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation.
Good

Presenter's graphics relate to text and presentation.
Excellent

Presenter's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Presentation is exceptional with color and explains the laws in detail with a pictorial graphic.
Mechanics
20 pts

You must provide at least a Two page paper, double spaced, font times new roman or courier 12 inch.
Poor

Presentation has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors, to inlude the Two page paper.
Fair

Presentation has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors, to include the two page paper.
Good

Presentation has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors, to include the Two page paper.
Excellent

Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors, to include the Two page paper.
Eye Contact and Elocution

Poor

Presenter reads all of report with no eye contact, mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair

Presenter occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report.<BR>
Presenter's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation
Good

Presenter maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.<BR>
Presenter's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Presenter maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes. Presenter uses a clear <BR>
voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
