Evaluation of Online Participation 
Students will have additional clarity about how their online participation will be evaluated. Online activity is one element of the participation grade for this course; the other is in-class participation. A minimum of one original post and two responses is what is required each week.

Remained determined, solved problems or completing assignments even when it required multiple steps, in-depth practice or activities that I was not interested but maintained my effort anyway.

Often allows distractions or other responsibilities to interrupt the completion of assignments. Time management needs to improve a lot.
Meets requirements

Was able to maintain focus on assignments and activities throughout the unit. Was able to block out most distractions, prioritize other responsibilities and persist with assignments to completion. Time-management is improving.
Exceeds Requirements

Was able to focus and maintain attention under almost all conditions. Successfully blocked out distractions, prioritized responsibilities and managed time with little interruption to the learning process. Successful management of time.
