Teamwork	Needs Improvement Students did not work as a team and the students parts are unclear in the performance.	Approaching Standards Students put in an equal effort to work together most of the time and each students specific part can be seen in most of the performance.	Meets Standards All students consistently put in an equal effort to work together and each student has a specific part that can clearly be seen in the performance.
Memorization	Needs Improvement Student did not attempt to memorize and is holding the script in front of them making no eye contact with the actors or audience.	Approaching Standards Student made some effort to memorize but is still holding the script in front of them and making little to no eye contact with the actors or audience.	Meets Standards Student is completely memorized and used class time to memorize. Student is also making eye contact with the actors or audience.
Understanding of language/Creative	Needs Improvement Student does not understand most of the language in their Shakespeare piece and has mispronunciations or unclear lines. The performance did not have a creative effort and was just a reciting of lines.	Approaching Standards Student understands some of the language in their Shakespeare piece with a few mispronunciations or unclear lines.The performance had some parts of a creative effort but some was just memorizing lines.	Meets Standards Student understands all of the language in their Shakespeare piece with a no mispronunciations or unclear lines.The performance had creative efforts put in and brought the scene to life.
