Understanding	Excellent Responses show detailed understanding of topics. Shows clear connection to everyday lives.	Good Responses include partial understanding of given topics. Limited connections made.	Poor No understanding of topics. No connections made.
Sentence structure	Excellent Full and complete sentences. No grammatical errors.	Good Complete sentences with few grammatical errors.	Poor Fragment sentences with grammatical errors.
Complete	Excellent Turned in on time and meets all requirements	Good Turned in late. Meets most of the requirements	Poor Not turned in at all
