Life drawing with shapes.
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Use of Geometric shapes.	Poor Student does not use Geometric shapes in the drawing and draws the contour line only.	Fair Student makes some use of Geometric shapes but mostly draws the contour line.	Good Student uses Geometric shapes to make the drawing, draws the contour line from the geometric shapes, erases the shapes after contour line is created.
Use of sketch line	Poor Student has dark lines that are difficult or impossible to erase.	Fair Students lines are somewhat dark but can be erased with some effort.	Good Student uses light touch sketch lines in the drawing that are easily erased.
Effort	Poor Student does not show effort in the drawing, quickly draws it, and it is messy.<BR> <BR> Student is not focused on the drawing (ex. spends class time talking to friends and not observing the shell).<BR> <BR> Student does not draw shell from life.	Fair Student shows some effort in the drawing but it is rushed.<BR> <BR> Student student is focused but does not draw shell from life.	Good Student shows effort in drawing. It is not rushed. It is neat. <BR> <BR> Student is focused on the drawing and makes the drawing from observation.
Clean up	Poor Student does not clean area, leaves a mess, leaves materials out, has others clean for him/her.<BR> Student talks to classmates and is not ready for dismissal.	Fair Student makes an effort cleaning but leaves materials out. Student talks to classmates and is not ready for dismissal.	Good Student's area is cleaned into the same condition it was when entering the room. Materials are put away and student is ready for dismissal.
