Social Benefit	EXCELLENT Ideas show an application to audience's lives. Motivates change in audience's community.	GOOD Ideas show somewhat of an application to audience's lives. Change suggested may not apply to some audience members.	POOR Ideas shown only hint to apply to audience. Change may not be suggested and/or only applies to a small % of audience.	UNACCEPTABLE No application to audience is made. Change does not exist or does not apply to audience.
Design of PSA	EXCELLENT Makes excellent use of font, color, graphics, effects, etc. to enhance the presentation.	GOOD Makes good use of font, color, graphics, effects, etc. to enhance presentation. Audio Technical	EXCELLENT Tone and voice convey emotions and energy. Clear and loud enough recording. Background sounds and effects blend with PSA's message.	GOOD Tone and voice frequently convey emotion/energy. Recording is clear enough to be heard. Background sounds/effects usually blend with PSA's message.	POOR Tone and voice sometimes convey emotion/energy. Most of the recording can be heard. Background sounds/effect distract from the message.	UNACCEPTABLE Tone and voice rarely convey emotion. Recording is unclear and/or not loud enough to be heard easily. No background sounds or highly distracting from message.
Spelling and Grammar	EXCELLENT No errors in spelling, grammar, and/or punctuation exist in the written or spoken parts of the PSA.	GOOD No errors in spelling, grammar, and/or punctuation exist in the written portion; but may be present in spoken parts. These errors do not seriously limit the message.	POOR Errors occur in spelling, grammar, and/or punctuation in written and spoken portions. Effectiveness is limited by these errors.	UNACCEPTABLE Errors are frequent and seriously affect the message.
Fair Use	EXCELLENT Follows fair use for all music and sound effects included. All text is the original work of the group or is used with permission.	GOOD Follows fair use for most music and sound effects. All text is the original work of group or is used with permission. Some minor issues exist with copyright and fair use.	POOR Most PSA is the original work of the group members, but some material is used without permission or in violation of copyright.	UNACCEPTABLE PSA does not follow fair use practices. Copyright violations are prevelant throughout the PSA.

Collaboration	EXCELLENT Supportive of group; works together; needed no prompting to stay on task; deadlines completed	GOOD Supportive of group; some worked more than others; occasional prompting needed to stay on task; deadlines completed	POOR Needed frequent prompting each day to stay on task; deadlines not met	UNACCEPTABLE Work was incomplete and/or only done by part of the group; deadlines not met
Time	EXCELLENT PSA is more than 30 seconds but less than 60 seconds. Excellent use of time in PSA's message.	GOOD PSA is more than 30 seconds but less than 60 seconds. Time is not effectively used. Pictures remain on screen too long and/or text moves too quickly.	POOR PSA is less than 45 seconds.	UNACCEPTABLE PSA is less than 30 seconds.
