Child Development weekly participation rubric Foods & Culinary Weekly Class Participation (not lab grade) Your class participation will be graded weekly out of a total of 15 points. Rubric Code: PXBX64X By smurp822 Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Vocational Type: Attendance Grade Levels: 9-12

Class Participation
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts	Perfect 5 pts
Attendance	Poor Unexcused absence or unexcused late	Fair	Good	Excellent	Perfect Perfect attendance for the week (excused absences/lates do not count against your grade).
Engagement	Poor Student was not engaged in any lessons, did not complete class work, did not participate in group work at all. Did not have any materials needed for class on any of the days of the all week.	Fair	Good Student did just enough to complete work. Answered and asked questions when prompted. Not all classwork was completed in a timely manner.	Excellent	Perfect Student was engaged completely during the week. Answered and asked questions when prompted and worked well during group work, completed all class work to the best of his/her ability. Had all materials needed for class for the entire week and any work from excused absences completed.
Behavior	Poor Behavior did not follow classroom guidelines.Parent contact needed.	Fair Behavior was not up to classroom guidelines. Student was disrespectful to teacher, peers or self for a majority of the week.	Good Student needed to be redirected several times throughout the week and was not always respectful to teacher, students or self during the week.	Excellent Student had minimal issues and only needed to be redirected by the teacher a few times throughout the week. Student was respectful to teacher, students and self.	Perfect Excellent behavior.
