Roaring Twenties Project 
Each student has been assigned a topic from the 1920's and have to give an oral presentation on the topic. Students are not limited to any avenue of presentation type. (Movie, song, illustrations, interviews, etc..) Each student must have a visual item, and an oral report prepared. Other students will be taking notes on the topics and will use the information for an upcoming test/quiz. The students will also answer questions from the instructor following the presentation.

Poor

Student has content, but is unclear of how it connects to the 1920s. The students content has inaccuracies, and is incomplete. Many key ideas of this topic have been left out. Content has little to no organization.
Fair

Student has information on the topic, but has left out some minor details that really would help classmates in a future class discussion. Content is not very organized, and is somewhat difficult to follow.
Good

Student has made a good effort to present the vast majority of the important information on the assigned topic. The student's content is organized.
Best

Student has made a great effort to cover as much content as possible in the subject matter. There does not seem to be anything the presenter does not know about this topic. The content is organized, and interesting!
Visual

Poor

Student has clearly made little to no effort to create a visual for this project.
Fair

Student visual may have taken some time to create, but is unorganized, and lacking creativity, and lacks important information.
Good

Student has clearly made an extended effort to create something that is going to be a benefit to the class. Visual(s) are organized, neat, and displays all of the necessary information
Best

Student has met the highest expectations. All the information is displayed. Students have displayed the information in a creative way. Project is an asset to the class.
Summary (fact sheet)

Poor

Student has little to no information covered in the written fact sheet.
Fair

Student has a written fact sheet, but it lacks information. Students summary also does not include information you have presented in your visual/presentation. Answers from students questions are unclear.
Good

Student has covered the majority of important information and matches the rest of the presentation. Has one page of facts, but some are unclear or does not have a complete page. Student was able to answer most of the relevant questions from the class.
Best

Student has written a well thought out summary of the topic, and has all necessary facts on the fact sheet. Student listed facts and they are one page in length. Student was able to answer all relevant questions from the class.
Summary (one page paragraph form)

Poor

Student has little to no information covered in the summary. Summary does not match the visual/presentation
Fair

Student has a less than half page written summary, and it lacks information. Students summary also does not include information you have presented in your visual/presentation.
Good

Student has a more than half page written summary, but it lacks information. Students summary also does not include information you have presented in your visual/presentation.
Best

Student has a page or more written summary, and it contains all relevant information. Students summary also does includes all the information you have presented in your visual/presentation.
