Architectural Model w/ Interior and Landscape Design
Students will create a scale model of a famous structure from a kit. They will be graded on how well they put together the different parts of the model

The model is very clean looking and does not have excessive gaps showing or edges to the various construction material.
Acceptable
There are some minor defective pieces cut or glued onto the model. There are a few design problems.
Poor
The model has various things misaligned. There are materials hanging off the model and were obviously not attached properly.

It is obvious that the team has taken time and care during construction. Cuts are straight and not jagged, there isn't an excessive amount of glue showing around parts.
Acceptable
Walls and paper are slightly crooked. There is moderate glue showing in. Materials may be only slightly misaligned.
Poor
Excessive dried glue around showing. Misaligned parts, or obvious mistakes.

All parts are strictly parrallel to each other and every space between each part is equal. All phases of construction are built according to written instructions and have the necessary number of parts to be structurally sound.
Acceptable
All parts are strictly measured but some spacing may be improper. There is one or two missing parts from each section of construction.
Poor
Things obviously have not been measured for straightness. There are a few parts of the kit used, key elements needed are missing.

The model's exterior finish look like it is the actual thing. Minor details like moulding and exterior trim are affixed to complete the model.
Acceptable
Detail moldings are missing. The window and door frames may not be finished, But interior and exterior finishes are appropriate and look generally good.
Poor
Many little details have not been included in the model.
