Poor Student does not use the given sentences and writes less than 3 paragraphs. Story is very difficult to follow and does not follow the idea given.
Sentences Sentences meet criterea.	Excellent Student does not have any run on sentences. There are no incommplete sentences.	Good There is one run on or incomplete sentence.	Fairly Good There are 2-4 run on sentences or incomplete sentences.	Poor There are more than 4 run on or incomplete sentences.
Capitals & Punctuation Proper use of capitals and punctuation is shown.	Excellent There are NO mistakes in spelling, capitalization, or punctuation.
