The rough draft is well organized. An introduction and a conclusion are both recognizable. The position and persuasive statements are present and are concise and clear. Effective transitions are used throughout. Body paragraphs are present and are developed uniformly. The writer stays on topic throughout. Vocabulary choices are mature and concise.
Revision & Editing (Knowledge/Und.)

Looking at the rough draft with the eyes of a reader and evaluator in order to improve clarity, organization, conciseness, and correctness. (Writing 1.5, 3.5)

Both self and peer editing are missing, illegible, or extremely sparce.
Fair

Some attempt to review and correct the essay is present, but is not helpful. Most errors are still undetected or are inaccurate.
