The name of the scientist, birth and death date of the scientist, picture of the scientist, where the scientist was born and where s/he did his work are properly written and clearly visible on the poster. The student's complete name is visible on the poster.

Student is missing 1 of the requirements on the poster.
2-approaching proficiency
Student is missing 2 of the requirements on the poster.
1-beginning proficiency
Student is missing 3 or more of the requirements on the poster.

4- exceeds proficiency
Includes information on why the scientist is famous or "wanted", and their accomplishments in your own words. Summary is well written and includes all aspects. Poster is well formed. It is clear the student researched the scientist and understood it.
3-meets proficiency
Summary includes all aspects of the scientist and the description of the poster but one aspect is missing..
It is clear the student did research.
2-approaching proficiency
Includes a description of some parts of the scientist. It appears the student did the research, but might not understand it.

Description is too vague.
