Good Each person is engaged in the process of using the tools. All tools are being used for correct purpose. Tools are organized and always being used in a controlled method.
Measurement	Poor No attempt to measure the diameter of the tree container. No attempt to apply measurements to the hole design.	Fair An attempt at an accurate measurement of the diameter of the tree. Use of measurements to design the hole.	Good Accurate measurement of the diameter of the tree. Use of measurements to design the hole.
Hole Design	Poor No slope to sides of hole. Too deep or shallow of a hole. Hole is mis-shaped.	Fair Hole has moderate level of slope. Hole is within one inch of being correct depth. Hole starting to take circular shape.	Good Hole has correct level of slope. Hole is correct depth. Hole has circular shape that takes in account the correct diameter.

Staking	Poor Stakes are not presents, loose, misplaced. Stakes are to close to root ball.	Fair Stakes are present and correct depth and tied off. Stakes are slightly off center and rope may not hold tree correclty.	Good Stakes are at 180 degrees of each other, firm, and correct distance from root ball. Rope is tied correctly.
