Class Participation Rubric Class Participation Rubric Below is a chart that shows exactly how your class participation grade will be determined. All students are expected to participate in class! I do understand that some students are shy and participate in ways other than class discussion. Forms of participation other than participating in class discussion (this is a primary form of participation) include giving other students feedback in class, adhering to the no-phone rule, attendance, and ability to answer in-class dialogue from the instructor. Fair FAIR<BR> Student is on time and disruptive to other students ready to start class.	Poor POOR<BR> Student is late and disrupts class by entering late.
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR	Excellent EXCELLENT<BR> Student often asks questions, participates in pair/group discussions.	Good GOOD<BR> Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in pair/group discussions.	Fair FAIR<BR> Student rarely participates in class, struggles with pair/group discussions.
