Daily Points for Dance Class Daily Points for Dance Class Dancer will get points daily for attendance, dance attire, behavior/attitude, and retention in the dance technique class. Rubric Code: NXBXCX4 By migliacio84 Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Dance Type: Attendance Grade Levels: K-5, 6-8, 9-12

Criteria
	Excellent 5 pts	Satisfactory 3 pts	Emerging 1 pts
Attendance	Excellent Showed up and prepared on time to participate in class.	Satisfactory Tardy to class but still came soon enough to participate.	Emerging Tardy to class, and late enough that must take observation day to earn credit.
Dance Attire	Excellent Came prepared in entire proper dress code for class i.e. hair, clothes, footwear etc.	Satisfactory Came mostly prepared in dress code for class with only one element missing i.e. hair, clothes, footwear etc.	Emerging Did not come dressed prepared for class and more than one element is missing i.e. hair, clothes, footwear etc.
Behavior/Attitude	Excellent Is positive and respectful to all participants in class, for the full length of class. No negative talking or attitude is present.	Satisfactory Is positive and respectful to all participants in class, for the majority of the class. Negative attitude becomes apparent only once or twice in class but still attempts to stay positive and respectful.	Emerging Is not positive and respectful to all participants in class for the majority of the class. Negative attitude is apparent the majority of the class.
Retention	Excellent Evident the dancer reviewed and practiced material from previous class, to make sure prepared and confident with it for current class, with few to no mistakes that were made in previous class.	Satisfactory Evident the dancer made some effort to review and practice material from previous class, but did not practice enough to be prepared and confident with material for current class, with some mistakes still evident from previous class.	Emerging Evident the dancer did not make effort to review and practice material from previous class, still making the same mistakes as evident in the last class.
