The interviewees’ background information was gathered and researched first, then placed with an event that occurred during their lifetime that they were witnessed to or lived through it. The interviewer placed all the information found about the interviewee (where they lived, what events took place around them, and what time period) into a summary report and turned it in along with the permission slip.
